Reservation in advance is always mandatory.
To check availability and make a reservation, contact our Booking Office from Monday to Friday, from 9.00 to 12.00 am and from 2.00 to 5.30 pm by calling 0039-039326383 or sending an email to [email protected] writing the requested date, number of students and the requested visit itinerary.
Our staff will provide you with the available time slots and all the information necessary to complete the booking.
About a month before your visit, we will send you a booking confirmation form by email, which must be filled in, signed, and sent back via email at least 15 working days before the date of the visit.
On the form you will find the summary of times, costs and details of the visit.
If you do not send the form via email, the reservation will be cancelled.
A copy of this form must be shown on the day of the visit upon your arrival at the ticket office.
It is also possible to book an EXTRA GUIDE SERVICE for the Museum and Cathedral (also available in a foreign language).
This service is external: your request will be forwarded to licensed tourist guides who apply hourly rates.
Once your request has been confirmed, we will put you in direct contact with the guides to decide on how to pay for their service.

BY BANK TRANSFER IN ADVANCE
The transfer must be made no later than the date indicated on the booking form (about 15 days before the visit) and a copy must be sent to the address: [email protected]. If you do not pay by the date indicated, the reservation will be cancelled. Unused tickets cannot be refunded.
Our institution does not issue invoices or receipts. On the day of the visit, we will give your responsible teacher the ticket issued for the visit, on which the total paid is written, corresponding to what was received by bank transfer. The title will be in your hands for your administration.
PAYMENT ON THE SPOT ON THE DAY OF THE VISIT (Cash, debit or credit card)
Payment must be made in a single solution. Individual payments/transactions will not be accepted. In case of payment in cash, the teacher in charge must collect all the fees in advance to give them to the ticket office.
On the day of the visit, we will give your responsible teacher the issued ticket, on which the total paid is written. The title will be in your hands for your administration.
To complete the ticketing operations, we recommend to arrive at the ticket office 15 minutes before the visiting time.
Upon your arrival you will have to show a copy of the signed booking confirmation form.
Inside the entire monumental complex (Cathedral, Cloister, Museum and Chapel of Teodolinda):
It is absolutely forbidden to take photographs, film and introduce electronic devices.
It is forbidden to smoke (even electronic cigarettes) and to introduce any type of food or drink.
Bags, backpacks, pouches, etc. must be left in the lockers.
It is absolutely forbidden to touch the exhibited works.
During the visit of the Chapel, we recommend appropriate behavior and clothing, in respect of the of the Cathedral as a religious place.
Please provide us with the name and mobile phone number of an accompanying teacher, to communicate possible changes by the Museum in real time. The teacher must promptly keep the Booking Office updated on any changes in plans prior to the visit or possible delay during the day of the visit.
The rooms of the complex are only partially accessible to disabled people with mobility difficulties, therefore we invite you to contact our Booking Office, so we can explain you the accessibility of our monumental complex.
Our monumental complex is in a traffic-restricted zone.
Tourist buses must go to Piazza Trento e Trieste, to the area dedicated to loading and unloading for tourist buses, which is about 300 mt. away from the Museum.
The bus must later move to the parking “Parco di Monza” or to the park area in Piazza Citterio while waiting to come back to pick up the tourists at the end of their visit.
