{"id":11396,"date":"2025-02-14T14:42:26","date_gmt":"2025-02-14T13:42:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.museoduomomonza.it\/single-and-family-entrance-rates\/"},"modified":"2026-06-15T14:25:20","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T12:25:20","slug":"single-and-family-entrance-rates","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.museoduomomonza.it\/en\/single-and-family-entrance-rates\/","title":{"rendered":"Individual and Family Tickets"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recommendations and rules<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visits for <em>Theodolinda\u2019s Chapel and the Iron Crown<\/em> are always regulated even for individual visitors, so <strong>booking is always mandatory for any date.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The visit is always accompanied by our qualified staff and includes an explanation of the pictorial cycle of the Zavattari and the Iron Crown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To complete your ticketing process, please arrive at the Ticket Office 15 minutes before your visit.<br>The entrance of the Ticket Office is in via Lambro 2, on the left side of the Duomo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PHOTOGRAPHS:<\/strong>&nbsp;it is possible to take photographs (without flash or easels) only in the Museum and in the Duomo, but not in the Theodolinda\u2019s Chapel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>RESPECT:<\/strong>&nbsp;in respect of the sacredness of the church, we invite you to observe silence and not disturb people in prayer. Do not forget to turn off the ringtone of your mobile phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CLOTHING<\/strong>: during the visit of the Duomo and the Theodolinda\u2019s Chapel, it is recommended to dress appropriately and respectfully for sacredness of the place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>BAGS AND BACKPACKS:<\/strong>&nbsp;in the Ticket Office there are lockers where you can deposit backpacks and bulky bags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>FOOD AND DRINKS:<\/strong>&nbsp;it is not possible to eat or drink in the monumental complex, nor to introduce food or drinks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>STAFF<\/strong>: the Staff of the Gaiani Foundation will be at your disposal. We invite you to strictly follow the instructions given.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TIMING<\/strong>: the visit of&nbsp;<em>Theodolinda\u2019s Chapel and Iron Crown<\/em>&nbsp;lasts 30 minutes. To manage visitors flows, permitted stay time inside the Treasury Room is 15 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TUTELAGE AND CONSERVATION:<\/strong>&nbsp;the works on display deserve attention and care: do not touch them and avoid behaviors that may harm them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>RESTRICTIONS:<\/strong>&nbsp;smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is prohibited in the monumental complex and animals of any size are not allowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accessibility and disabled people<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The museum complex is only\u00a0<strong>partially accessible<\/strong>\u00a0to to visitors with physical\/mobility disabilities. Please inform the Booking Office of the presence of any visitors in wheelchairs or with other mobility limitations, so we can better organize your visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To access our\u00a0<strong>Ticket Office from Via Lambro<\/strong>, you can use a mobile ramp (152x72cm, payload 300 kg), which our staff can position upon request<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To access the\u00a0<strong>Theodolinda\u2019s Chapel<\/strong>, it is possible to use a mobile ramp (285x70cm, payload 300 kg), which our staff can position upon request<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Museum and Treasury: consisting of 3 underground floors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Treasury Room:\u00a0<\/strong>located on level -1, accessible\u00a0<strong>only<\/strong>\u00a0via a flight of stairs consisting of 16 steps, equipped with a handrail, with a width of 110 cm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Inside the Treasury area:\u00a0<\/strong>there are two short flights of stairs consisting of 2 and 3 steps respectively, without handrails. The steps are 15 cm high and approximately 2 meters wide<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Connection to level -2 (Gaiani Section):<\/strong>\u00a0To continue beyond the Treasury Room and reach the lower floor, it is necessary to walk down 2 additional flights of stairs:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A flight of 10 steps, equipped with a handrail, with a width varying between 187 and 238 cm, and 15cm high<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A flight of 8 steps, equipped with a handrail, 130cm wide and 18cm high<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Gaiani Section:<\/strong>\u00a0Levels -2 and -3 are served by an elevator (140x80cm, payload 630kg), which can only be used when accompanied by our staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Museum is part of the Accessibility4all project.
